The countdown is on until The Block Triple Threat is finally aired – only 8 days to go!
No-one will forget the disappointing anti-climax of the last season with contestants winning as little as $10,000 for all their hard work! Prospective contestants must be wondering if it’s even worth applying! Well, the producers and the heads at Channel 9 have decided to mix it up and hopefully ensure that doesn’t happen again.
In the new season, Thee Block Triple Threat, Sunday night reveals will have the usual three judges, Shaynna Blaze, Neale Whitaker and Darren Palmer providing their scores with the highest scoring room receiving $10,000, however there will be a new element brought in. To provide the contestants with actual buyer feedback which will ultimately help them with the sale of their property (which was touched on in the previous season), the producers have introduced 3 buyer advocates who will give their scores of the contestant’s rooms each week. These advocates include Frank Valentic from Advantage Property, Nicole Jacobs from Jacobs Buying Group and Greville Pabst from WBP Property Group. Together with the scores of the other contestants the winning team will walk away with $5000 and no doubt, some invaluable insight into their progress. As another wonderful addition the couple with the lowest score will be given time with Shaynna, Neale or Darren as their mentor.
I think this season will have some great new twists and turns and I can’t wait for Tuesday week!
